As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the transportation of goods from suppliers to customers. This includes overseeing the movement of goods, tracking delivery schedules, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Track delivery schedules and update stakeholders on any delays or issues
- Arrange transportation for goods using various modes such as air, sea, or land
- Monitor shipment costs and negotiate rates with carriers
- Prepare necessary documents for customs clearance and biometric passport processing
- Ensure all shipments comply with international trade laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and shipments
- Communicate regularly with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to provide updates on shipment status
- Troubleshoot any logistical issues that may arise during transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in business administration or logistics management preferred
- Previous experience in logistics coordination or related field
