Overview

Logistics Coordinator in Sharjah, UAE. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to coordinate and monitor the movement of goods and materials from suppliers to customers. This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent communication, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Monitor shipment progress and update stakeholders on any delays or issues
• Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate documentation of stock
• Communicate with customers to confirm delivery dates and resolve any issues
• Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading of goods
• Maintain records of all shipments, including invoices, bills of lading, and other relevant documentation
• Resolve any transportation or logistics-related problems that may arise
• Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and customs requirements
• Continuously identify areas for improvement in the logistics process

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Logistics Coordinator or similar role
• Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Malayalam or Arabic is a plus)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Familiarity with logistics software (e.g. SAP) is preferred but not required
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in international shipping and knowledge of customs regulations is preferred but not required

Preference will be given to candidates who are Malayalee or Egyptian nationals, however, this is not a strict requirement.
