Overview of the Role

This role is responsible for delivering high-quality work with maximum efficiency in the workshop. The Workshop Supervisor will ensure seamless operations, uphold safety and quality standards, and maintain a customer-centric approach to drive service excellence and workshop productivity.

What You Will Do

• Facilitate effective communication between senior management and workshop staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Oversee and ensure the highest quality of repair and maintenance work to enhance customer satisfaction and minimize repeat jobs, thereby improving overall workshop efficiency.
• Identify training needs and oversee the development of workshop staff to maintain technical competencies and improve performance.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness across the workshop floor.
• Ensure technicians wear clean, specified uniforms and adhere to established disciplinary standards.
• Monitor the proper functioning of workshop equipment.
• Ensure correct usage of tools, equipment, and personal protective gear.
• Keep the workshop floor clear of hazards such as oil spills, loose parts, and other potential safety risks.
• Plan and distribute work efficiently, assigning tasks based on technicians’ skill levels to maximize productivity.
• Ensure accurate time-clocking and maintain comprehensive job cards with detailed records of all operations carried out on vehicles

Required Skills to Be Successful

• 2–3 years of experience as a Workshop Supervisor in an automotive dealership.
• Proven ability to allocate tasks based on technician capabilities and job requirements.
• Proficient in preparing detailed technical reports.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

About the Team
You will report directly to the Aftersales Manager and work closely with Technicians and Service Advisors. Your role requires regular coordination across departments to ensure smooth operations and a consistent focus on customer satisfaction. Your contribution will be instrumental in upholding the standards and success of the workshop.

What Equips You for the Role

• Degree or diploma in Automotive or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in a technical or supervisory role within a dealership workshop; experience in EV workshops is a plus.
• Strong supervisory and technical skills, computer proficiency (especially in Excel), and effective communication abilities.
• A valid UAE driving license
