A leading retail consultancy is seeking an experienced Supervisor to manage operations in a supermarket located in Al Ain. The successful candidate will oversee daily store operations, ensure high customer service standards, and lead a team. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Supervisor with strong retail experience particularly in a supermarket for our Retail company Client in Al Ain. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations ensuring staff are properly managed and maintaining a high standard of customer service. The role requires excellent leadership skills a solid understanding of supermarket operations and the ability to manage and motivate a team to meet sales targets and improve overall store performance.

Key Responsibilities
1. Store Operations Management
  • Oversee daily operations within the supermarket ensuring smooth functioning of departments (e.g. produce dairy meat etc.)
  • Monitor stock levels perform inventory checks and ensure timely product replenishment.
  • Ensure the store is clean organized and wellstocked at all times meeting hygiene and safety standards.
2. Team Leadership and Staff Management
  • Supervise and support a team of store associates providing guidance and training.
  • Schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and manage attendance.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews provide feedback and motivate staff to achieve their best performance.
  • Resolve any employer-related issues ensure good teamwork and maintain a positive work environment.
3. Customer Service and Satisfaction
  • Ensure exceptional customer service is provided at all times addressing customer concerns and complaints promptly.
  • Assist customers with product inquiries and guide them through the shopping experience.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and implement strategies to improve service levels.
4. Sales and Performance Monitoring
  • Assist in driving sales by meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Implement and monitor in-store promotions and strategies to increase foot traffic and sales.
  • Track store performance and provide reports on sales inventory and staff productivity.
  • Work closely with the management team to analyze sales data and make adjustments to improve performance.
5. Health Safety and Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the store.
  • Monitor adherence to store policies and UAE regulations.
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure product quality and store cleanliness are maintained.
6. Stock and Inventory Management
  • Assist with inventory management ensuring products are correctly stocked and organized.
  • Perform regular stock audits and coordinate with the purchasing team for reordering.
  • Ensure product displays are organized and well-maintained to maximize sales.
Requirements
Experience
  • 23 years of experience in a supervisory role within a supermarket or retail environment.
  • Familiarity with the operations of a supermarket including knowledge of inventory management store layout and product assortment.
  • Previous experience in staff management and team leadership.
Skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities with a focus on improving operations and customer experience.
  • Good understanding of retail operations and inventory management.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Retail Management or a related field is a plus.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office or retail management software is preferred.
Age

Preference for candidates under 40 years but candidates up to 45 years will also be considered.
