We are seeking a talented and driven Indian Merchandiser to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and implementing strategies to increase product sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement merchandising plans that align with company goals and objectives
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and pricing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales, to develop effective product campaigns
- Conduct research on consumer behavior and preferences to inform merchandising decisions
- Create visual displays that attract customers and showcase products effectively
- Analyze sales data to track product performance and identify areas for improvement
- Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in merchandising
Requirements:
- Indian nationality preferred
- Proven experience in merchandising or related field is a plus
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data effectively
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Knowledge of market trends and consumer behavior in the UAE region is an advantage
- Willingness to work on a contract basis without prior experience
- Valid visa for working in Abu Dhabi
- Willingness to travel within the UAE as needed
