Job summary
A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer specializing in house connections in Dubai. The role involves leading projects, ensuring compliance with local standards, and mentoring junior engineers. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 10-15 years of relevant experience in the UAE, with a strong understanding of water distribution networks.
Qualifications
- 10-15 years of experience in water infrastructure projects specifically house connection projects.
- Proven experience in the UAE or GCC region.
- Strong knowledge of local codes, standards, and regulations related to water distribution.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of house connection projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prepare technical specifications.
- Supervise field works including installation and commissioning.

Education
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer specializing in house connections and water infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and supervising house connection projects with strong knowledge of local regulations and standards. Experience in Dubai Municipality projects is required.
- Lead the planning, design and execution of house connection projects for water distribution networks.
- Conduct feasibility studies, prepare technical specifications and review engineering drawings for compliance with local standards.
- Supervise field works including installation, testing and commissioning of house connections.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants and government authorities to ensure timely and quality project delivery.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations on all projects.
- Monitor and maintain project budgets, timelines and resource allocation.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and site staff.
- Prepare reports, progress updates and documentation for stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in water infrastructure projects specifically house connection projects.
- Proven experience in the UAE or GCC region is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of local codes, standards and regulations related to water distribution.
- Experience in DM projects preferred - DM Dubai Municipality.
- Excellent project management, communication and problem-solving skills.
