This is an opportunity for a professional with experience in general maintenance and repair work to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including repairs, installations, and maintenance within the facility.
- Carrying out scheduled repairs and maintenance on equipment such as lighting fixtures, locks, doors, windows, plumbing systems, etc.
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and appliances such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and microwaves.
- Installing new fixtures or parts as required.
- Responding to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Ensuring all tools are maintained properly and safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Maintaining accurate records of all work completed.
- Assisting with any other tasks assigned by management.
- Diploma or certificate in building services engineering or a related field (preferred).
- Experience working as a handyman or in general maintenance (preferred).
- Ability to use basic hand tools effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects when required.
- Good communication skills.
