As a Risk Consultant responsible for planning, developing, and managing clients' risk management requirements (ERM and Security). Quick learner and willing to grow along with the team. To be an individual contributor and to have the capacity to manage a team.
- Execute periodic and adhoc compliance checks and Enterprise/Security risk assessments to ensure that controls and measures are adherent to the mandated policies and guidelines.
- Conduct risk assessments based on current state of adherence to policies and rate of adoption of security controls and mechanisms.
- Assess the effectiveness of controls.
- Review authorization and assurance documents to confirm that the level of risk is within acceptable limits of the scoped risk.
- Provide input to the Risk Management Framework process activities and related documentation (e.g., system lifecycle support plans, concept of operations, operational procedures, and maintenance training materials).
- Participate in Risk Governance process to provide security risks mitigations and input on other technical risk.
- Ensure that plans of actions and milestones or remediation plans are in place for vulnerabilities identified during risk assessments, audits, inspections, etc.
- Creating Risk Policy and process documents that reflect security objectives.
- Developing security standards and guidelines based on best practices and industry standards.
- Applying confidentiality, integrity, and availability principles.
- Integrating and applying policies that meet security objectives.
- Assessing security controls based on cybersecurity principles and tenets.
- Performing impact/risk assessments.
- Assessing security systems designs.
- Information prioritization methodologies as it relates to operations.
- Documenting risk and compliance activities.
- Preparing and presenting briefings.
- Preparing plans and related correspondence.
- Reviewing and editing assessment products.
- Understanding the RFP requirements and developing Technical proposals.
