Urban Design Specialist
Job summary
An established industry player is seeking a skilled Urban Designer to contribute to impactful projects. In this role, you will develop urban design analysis and strategies while preparing high-quality 2D and 3D simulations. Your expertise will be crucial in stakeholder engagement and delivering compelling presentations. Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in urban design and planning.
- Hands-on with design software and excellent communication skills.

- Prepare 2D & 3D design simulations and high-quality reports.

The candidate will report to the Technical Lead and will be supporting the Technical Lead in the delivery of the assigned project sections.
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing quality urban design analysis benchmarking and strategies.
- Preparation of urban design proposals 2D & 3D design simulations at urban / street block level.
- Preparation of high quality reports and presentations as required.
- Preparation for deliverables and active attendance at key client meetings.
- Support in stakeholder engagement.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience.
- Masters in Urban Design.
- Hands-on with software such as MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop, AutoCAD is a must. Experience in using GIS software would be beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Reading, writing, and speaking fluent Arabic is a plus.
- Experience in urban and regional planning projects of similar scale.
- Willingness to relocate to Oman for project duration.
