A reputable hospital in Dubai is seeking a General Practitioner (GP Doctor) to join its clinical team. The GP will be responsible for providing primary medical care diagnosing and treating a broad range of illnesses and referring patients to specialists when necessary. The ideal candidate will have a DHA license or eligibility excellent clinical judgment and a patientcentered approach to healthcare.
- Conduct routine and urgent medical consultations across all age groups.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
- Provide preventive healthcare including health education and vaccinations.
- Refer patients to specialists or consultants when advanced care is needed.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and patient histories.
- Ensure timely followup and monitoring of treatment plans.
- Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient care.
- Comply with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) regulations and hospital protocols.
- Adhere to infection control and patient safety policies.
- Participate in clinical audits peer reviews and quality improvement initiatives.
- Educate patients and families on medical conditions treatment plans and lifestyle modifications.
- Offer emotional and psychological support where appropriate.
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent Required.
- Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter Mandatory.
- BLS/ACLS certification Preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience postqualification (UAE or international).
- Experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings preferred.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced multicultural environment.
- Familiarity with EMR systems and digital patient records.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
