General Manager – Multi-Brand Restaurant Group

Role Overview

Based in Dubai, our client leads a vibrant portfolio of innovative, homegrown restaurant brands, with bold ambitions to expand their presence across the region. We seek a strategic, hands-on General Manager to drive operational excellence and growth for this homegrown and dynamic multi-brand hospitality group. This critical role demands a confident F&B leader who excels in P&L ownership, operational efficiency, and innovative initiatives like brand launches, pop-ups, and catering ventures. Reporting to the owner, you’ll have the autonomy to shape operational strategies, inspire high-performing teams, and elevate service standards while driving profitability in the UAE fast-paced, competitive market with ambitions to grow across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities.

• Financial Ownership : Manage P&L across multiple restaurant brands, driving profitability through disciplined cost control, revenue growth strategies, and maintaining exceptional service and quality standards at all locations.
• Team Leadership : Lead and develop a diverse team of over 350 staff, including restaurant managers and operations heads, fostering a culture of accountability, empowerment, and consistent delivery of brand standards.
• Operational Excellence : Optimise processes, staffing models, and resource allocation to enhance efficiency, streamline operations, and elevate guest experiences without compromising quality.
• Growth Initiatives : Spearhead expansion through new brand launches, pop-ups, chef collaborations, and catering services, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to increase market share and revenue streams.
• Stakeholder Management : Cultivate strong relationships with landlords, suppliers, and key partners, securing favourable lease agreements, supply contracts, and capex deals to support operational needs and expansion goals.
• Financial Oversight : Monitor financial performance, challenge budgets and forecasts, and partner with finance teams to ensure precise cash flow management, cost forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
• Innovation and Market Adaptation : Lead innovative initiatives like pop-up events, chef-driven collaborations, and catering programs, leveraging UAE market trends and consumer insights to maintain a competitive edge.
• Performance Culture : Set and track clear KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and champion a culture of continuous improvement to achieve short- and long-term business objectives.

Candidate Profile.

• Demonstrated success in leading catering services, chef collaborations, or pop-up initiatives, showcasing innovation and market responsiveness.
• Proven leadership in the UAE hospitality / F&B industry, managing multiple restaurant brands or locations with a team of 350+ employees.
• Strong financial acumen, with expertise in P&L management, cost control, and driving profitability in a competitive market.
• Extensive experience in restaurant brand expansion, adept at negotiating with landlords and suppliers to secure favourable terms for new locations and operational support.
• Thrives in the fast-paced, dynamic environment of homegrown restaurant brands, with a proactive and adaptable approach to challenges..
• Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills with stakeholders to meet operational and growth objectives.
• Strategic thinker with a proven track record of executing growth plans and operational efficiencies in high-pressure settings.
• Preferred degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and long-term sustainability.
