Master Degree in Environmental Science or Bachelor/Masters in Environmental Engineering or related field

EXPERIENCE:

10 yrs. to 25 yrs. in Environmental, Health and Safety Field with Development, Infrastructure and Oil and Gas Project

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage environmental projects, including managing staff and budgets and coordinating activities.
• Direct staff in providing excellent customer service to all external and internal customers.
• Plan, direct and coordinate, through subordinate level staff; assign projects and programmatic areas of responsibility; review and evaluate work methods and procedures.
• Analyze the current practices of contracted clients and identify points where environmental sustainability can be improved.
• Attend and participate in professional group meetings; stay abreast of new trends and innovations in the field of environmental services.
• Prepare Environmental Assessment Studies and Environmental Management Plans (EMP) for various industries.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals and execute awarded projects.
• Train HSE staff of various contracted companies in terms of environmental permit conditions, pollution prevention, waste management, emergency management, hazardous material handling, and storage.
• Prepare and review environmental and social impact assessment (ESIA) studies, Terms of Reference (TOR), climate impact assessments (CIA), environmental management plans (CEMP, OEMP, DEMP) studies, Strategic Environmental Assessments (SEA), Preliminary Environmental Reviews (PER), and emergency response plans (ERP) for industrial, development, and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and review monitoring reports, marine and terrestrial ecological survey reports, and Tree Assessment Surveys.
• Plan and execute fieldwork.
• Liaise with suppliers, clients, and regulatory authorities.
