Job summary
A leading IT solutions provider in Dubai is seeking a Presales Consultant for Compute Infrastructure. The role focuses on providing technical solutions related to servers, storage, and virtualization, working closely with the sales team to achieve targets. Responsibilities include product demonstrations, customer engagement, and alignment of solutions with client requirements. The ideal candidate should have a background in engineering, strong analytical skills, and relevant certifications in server and storage solutions.
Qualifications
- Familiar with server, storage, virtualization, and backup solutions.
- Experience in presales support and customer engagement.
- Understanding of industry-standard certifications.

- Provide presales assistance to sales teams.
- Illustrate solution value to clients effectively.
- Align company capabilities with client business needs.
- Participate in RFI/RFP processes and product demonstrations.

Presales Consultant Compute Infrastructure is responsible for the technical solutioning on servers storage virtualization Backup and related services. Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements defining the solution as per the customer requirements. Work with Product manager to define the product vision and customer satisfaction goals are met
- Work closely with the Sales team to provide full presales assistance in support of the successful achievement of sales targets.
- Illustrate the value of the companys solution to prospects in a compelling manner.
- Responsible for aligning companys capabilities (products and services) with client business requirements through a professional and ethical business approach
- Participate in the completion of submitted RFI/RFP documents bid coordination prospect qualification discovery and requirements gathering product demonstrations technical discussions and design solution proposals.
- Promote and support sales opportunities into existing accounts and help to ensure that customers are successful in their objectives.
- Involve in Proof-Of-Concept (POC) activities in order to assist sales in closing deals
- Work closely with product manager to generate leads and opportunities
- Current Products that needs to be handled are HPE DELL EMC Nutanix VMWARE Commvault Cohesity etc.
- Provide product Trainings to Internal Sales Teams
- Commercial Discussions with Principals if required
- Discussions with OEM Presales on Regular basis
- Liaising with Distributors for Product Availability and Prices
- Help Sales close the deals on technical grounds if required

Engineering or Equivalent
- HPE MASE Preferred

- Backup Solution (Commvault / Cohesity / VEEAM) Technical Certification
Configuration Tools from OEM like HPE DELL Nutanix etc.
