A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Team Leader – Cloud and Security to oversee the Azure cloud team in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for delivering scalable solutions while aligning cloud initiatives with enterprise architecture. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience in Cloud and Security, proven team leadership skills, and experience in infrastructure cost management. This position is onsite in Abu Dhabi for a duration of 12 months.

- 10+ years of experience with Cloud and Security.
- Experience leading a team of technical Cloud and Security Specialists.
- Experience in cost management of the infrastructure.

- Monitor Azure infrastructure health and performance.
- Validate deployments via CI/CD pipelines.

- Conduct daily stand-ups with the Azure team.

Role: Contract | Duration: 12 Months | Location: Onsite in Abu Dhabi
Adecco is hiring a Team Leader – Cloud and Security for our prestigious client in Abu Dhabi. Lead the Azure cloud team in delivering scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions and align cloud initiatives with enterprise architecture and digital transformation goals, also be a technical advisor to stakeholders and project teams.
- Monitor Azure infrastructure health and performance using tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel.
- Validate deployments and changes via CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
- Review and assign service tickets and incidents; ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and access controls (RBAC, Conditional Access).
- Conduct daily stand‑ups with the Azure team to track progress and blockers.
- Coordinate with SOC/NOC teams for incident response and escalation.
Prepare and present a Monthly Azure Operations Report including:
- Uptime and availability metrics (SLAs)
- Incident and problem management summaries
- Conduct monthly performance reviews with team members.
- Review and update Azure governance policies and documentation.
- Cost analysis and budget tracking (Azure Cost Management)
- Resource utilization and optimization recommendations
- Security and compliance audit logs
- Project delivery status and roadmap updates
- Lead cloud deployments and modernization projects.
- Design and implement Azure services (VMs, VNets, Azure AD, App Services, etc.).
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, ARM, or Terraform.
- Ensure compliance with ADNOC’s cybersecurity framework and regulatory requirements.
- Manage identity and access via Azure AD, MFA, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
- 10+ years of experience with Cloud and Security.
- Experience leading a team of technical Cloud and Security Specialists.
- Experience in cost management of the infrastructure.
