Site Manager, Thermal Power Plant (PP-CCGT) UAE
Job summary
A leading engineering firm in the UAE is looking for a Site/Construction Manager with over 15 years of experience in thermal power plants, specifically PP-CCGT. The role involves leading on-site activities, managing stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and reporting skills and be fluent in English. Contract term is 36 months, with no remote work available.
Qualifications
- 15 years of experience on thermal power plants including PP-CCGT.
- Proven track record as Site/Construction Manager on large power projects.
- Ability to work in multicultural environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all on-site activities for a large Thermal PP-CCGT project.
- Act as main interface between employer EPC/EPCM contractor and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with HSE quality schedule and contractual requirements.
- Chair coordination meetings, manage risks and resolve site issues.
- Validate work methods ITPs and progress reports; support commissioning handover.
