What Will You Do

Your Main Duties And Responsibilities Are

1. Run a station during allocated schedule, including taking orders, looking after the service for food and beverage, and making sure that the items served are correctly inputted in the point of sale.
2. Promote sales and build up good relationships with members and guests, ensuring a positive and lasting guest experience by obtaining direct feedback.
3. Liaise with the kitchen on order taking, stock levels, and any special requests.
4. Ensure up-selling opportunities for cocktails, wine, sake, and other beverages in liaison with Bar and Sommelier teams.
5. Handle minor complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
6. Ensure that all crockery, cutlery, and any other objects and equipment needed for service are prepared and available.
7. Be efficient in keeping food and beverage wastage to a minimum.
8. Ensure that the Lounge area is clean and presentable throughout the opening times.
9. Monitor the daily checklist and ensure all opening and closing duties are completed.

What We Are Looking For

The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills:

1. Minimum 2 years’ experience in the same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurants.
2. Excellent level of English, written and spoken.
3. Desirable knowledge of cocktails.
4. Knowledge of Food and Beverage applications.
5. Strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility.
6. Excellent team management, communication, and listening skills.
7. Demonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
8. Ability to work long shifts and stand for extended periods of time.
