Position overview

This role requires someone hands-on, solutions-focused, and who thrives on making things happen.

You’ll support the whole digital marketing function – helping to build AES’s online presence and bring our brand and ideas to life through engaging content and sharp execution.

You’ll be the go-to person the team relies on – whether that’s assisting in and scheduling social posts, repurposing a blog post for LinkedIn, designing a quick asset in Canva, or jumping in to track campaign results.

This is a junior-level role, ideal for someone early in their career, but with a strong grasp of digital marketing principles, a collaborative mindset, and a hunger to learn and grow.

In this role you’ll

• Support the planning and delivery of digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and content marketing.
• Draft and schedule posts across LinkedIn (company and personal), X, Facebook, and Instagram.
• Produce and edit visual assets using tools such as Canva – including static graphics, short videos, and reels.
• Assist in monitoring and engaging with social media communities, responding to comments and DMs.
• Help maintain and optimise a social content calendar and ensure campaign deadlines are met.
• Track performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and recommend refinements to boost engagement and leads.
• Repurpose content (e.g. articles, videos, webinars) for different platforms and formats.
• Assist with the management of the CEO’s YouTube channel.
• Stay on top of digital trends, platform updates, and competitor activity.
• Contribute to other marketing projects or initiatives as required by the team.
• Get involved in a wide range of marketing projects – from internal comms to lead generation – as needed by the team.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (any discipline).
• A generalist’s understanding of digital marketing and eagerness to get stuck in across multiple areas.
• Experience (or confidence) using Canva or similar design tools.
• Strong command of written English.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and what drives performance on each.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• A strong bias for action – you enjoy turning ideas into outputs.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• A collaborative, can-do attitude and a willingness to support wherever needed.
• Curiosity about AI and a willingness to explore how it can enhance marketing – from improving workflows and content creation to staying ahead of trends and driving greater efficiency.
• Experience with HubSpot is a plus, but not essential.
• Experience in video editing tools like Capcut and video production is desirable.
• Bonus: experience building or growing social media accounts (personal, academic, or professional).
