Job summary

Hyatt International is seeking a Sous Chef - Western Cuisine to assist the Chef de Cuisine in managing the kitchen and ensuring outstanding guest experiences. This role supports strategic alignment with corporate standards and brand guidelines while maintaining profitability and high quality.

The successful candidate will have solid experience in luxury hotel operations, strong hygiene and safety knowledge, and basic digital skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years as Sous Chef or 4 years as Chef de Partie in a hotel or large restaurant.
• Experience with luxury international brands is preferred.
• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and occupational health and safety standards.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office); experience with Recipe Maintenance System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the efficient running of the department according to Hyatt Corporate Strategies and brand standards.
• Support the Chef de Cuisine in managing the kitchen operation as a profitable center.
• Plan, organize, direct and control kitchen operations and administration.
• Aim to maximize guest satisfaction and maintain high standards.
