Key Responsibilities

Warehouse and Storekeeping Operations

• Oversee daily warehousing activities involving the receipt, identification, handling, storage, issuing, and delivery of parts.
• Ensure warehouse transactions are processed accurately through the computerized inventory system.
• Coordinate inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse activities to maintain efficient operations.
• Monitor parts handling and storage activities to ensure compliance with established procedures.
• Support the accurate movement of parts between receiving, storage, and dispatch areas.
• Maintain an organized workflow to support timely order fulfillment.

Team Leadership and Coordination

• Act as the warehouse floor leader and guide team members in completing assigned tasks correctly.
• Monitor daily team activities to maintain operational accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct daily team meetings to discuss warehouse issues and operational priorities.
• Communicate task requirements and provide practical guidance to warehouse personnel.
• Address day-to-day operational challenges and support effective teamwork.
• Help team members adapt to changing workloads and priorities.

Order Processing and Dispatch

• Coordinate order processing and ensure parts are dispatched within established cut-off times.
• Monitor pending orders and follow up on activities that may affect dispatch schedules.
• Support accurate picking, issuing, and delivery of parts.
• Identify operational delays and take appropriate action to maintain workflow.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure orders are processed correctly and on time.

Inventory Accuracy and Replenishment

• Monitor storage bins and identify locations requiring stock replenishment.
• Update the inventory system with relevant replenishment information.
• Maintain accurate warehouse records and stock movement information.
• Identify and report inventory discrepancies.
• Report quality concerns involving stored or handled parts.
• Support inventory accuracy through careful checking and timely system updates.

Warehouse Performance and Reporting

• Monitor warehouse activities against established key performance indicators.

• Investigate customer claims relating to warehouse and parts operations.
