Key Responsibilities
- Check the accuracy of picked items before dispatch to ensure customer orders are fulfilled correctly.
- Verify case shipping unit labels against destination details to reduce delivery errors and wrong shipments.
- Assist with customer claim investigations by physically checking stock and comparing actual quantities with book quantities.
- Submit clear investigation results to the storekeeper or supervisor after reviewing claim‑related stock discrepancies.
- Perform bin location assignment for new model parts, stock transfers, and warehouse updates in SAP with full accuracy.
- Investigate warehouse denials, identify root causes, and support corrective actions to reduce repeated issues.
- Report inventory discrepancies, quality concerns, stock mismatches, damaged items, and process irregularities to the relevant team.
- Coordinate positively with warehouse team members, team leaders, and delivery staff to support timely dispatch and receiving activities.
- Support sales returns processing and ensure returned items are checked, recorded, and routed according to warehouse procedures.
- Monitor assigned warehouse tasks to help achieve daily operational KPIs related to accuracy, productivity, safety, and dispatch performance.
- Maintain clean, safe, organized, and efficient warehouse work areas to support operational flow and workplace safety.
- Follow documented warehouse procedures, stocking practices, and inventory handling standards.
- Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with team coordination, task follow‑up, and daily operational priorities.
- Help junior warehouse staff understand picking accuracy, bin discipline, stock movement procedures, and safe working practices.
Ideal Profile
- High school certificate or diploma qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar warehouse, inventory, logistics, automotive parts, or distribution role.
- Good understanding of basic inventory, warehousing, stocking, dispatch, and stock checking procedures.
- Experience working in a busy warehouse environment, preferably within automotive parts, aftersales, distribution, or logistics operations.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office applications for basic reporting, documentation, tracking, and communication.
- SAP exposure is an advantage, especially for bin location updates, stock transfers, and inventory‑related transactions.
- Strong attention to detail when checking picked items, labels, stock quantities, and warehouse documents.
- Able to write simple instructions, update records, and follow documented warehouse procedures.
- Good listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Able to multitask during busy operational periods while maintaining accuracy and safety.
- Team‑oriented approach with the ability to coordinate with supervisors, team leaders, warehouse staff, and delivery teams.
