Role Context

The Supply Chain Executive – Spare Parts ensures that the correct automotive parts are available at the required locations and times, balancing customer service with inventory investment by supporting demand planning, purchase order management, supplier coordination, shipment tracking, and stock optimization.

Working with experienced supply chain, procurement, logistics, warehouse, and aftersales teams, the executive will develop the analytical and operational skills required to support parts availability across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and purchasing of automotive spare parts from approved international suppliers.
• Review demand forecasts, historical consumption, current stock, pending orders, and future requirements.
• Prepare or support purchase orders according to approved planning recommendations and inventory policies.
• Track open orders from supplier confirmation through shipment and final receipt.
• Follow up with suppliers regarding production status, dispatch schedules, documentation, and delivery commitments.
• Identify delayed orders and coordinate corrective action before shortages affect business operations.
• Monitor inventory availability across warehouses, service centers, and other assigned locations.
• Help prevent stock‑outs by identifying fast‑moving items and emerging supply risks.
• Review excess, slow‑moving, ageing, and obsolete inventory.
• Support actions to reduce unnecessary stock while protecting required service levels.
• Assist with inventory transfers and redistribution between locations when appropriate.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to support smooth inbound shipment activity.
• Follow up on shipping documents, expected arrival dates, customs‑related information, and receiving status.
• Communicate supply issues to planning, procurement, logistics, warehouse, and aftersales stakeholders.
• Update order, supplier, shipment, and inventory information within approved systems.
• Maintain accurate planning records and supporting documentation.
• Use dashboards and reports to review order performance, stock availability, inventory ageing, and supplier delivery results.
• Analyze data to identify recurring delays, demand changes, and inventory improvement opportunities.
• Support forecasting activities using historical trends, business requirements, and planned campaigns.
• Contribute to the improvement of planning parameters, reorder levels, lead times, and safety stock settings.
• Assist with inventory counts, stock reconciliation, and discrepancy investigations.
• Help measure service levels, order fulfilment, stock‑outs, excess inventory, and obsolete stock.
• Prepare regular supply chain updates and performance summaries for management review.
• Participate in supplier reviews, planning meetings, and operational discussions.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to resolve supply, inventory, and delivery challenges.
