Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai seeks a Warehouse Operations Lead to supervise daily e-commerce warehouse activities—including picking, put-away, decanting, replenishment, order processing and dispatch. You will plan manpower, manage capacity and ensure budget adherence to reach productivity targets.

Collaborate with DC Operations, IT and Maintenance to maintain systems and drive optimization of the automated warehouse environment, including Dematic sorters and conveyors.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in e-commerce warehouse operations, with 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce fulfillment processes (picking, packing, shipping, returns).
• Degree in Supply Chain Management is a plus.

• Ensure skilled manpower readiness for peak periods (Ramadan, BTS) via multi-skilling.

Warehouse Operations – Key Responsibilities

• Execute and supervise daily E-commerce warehouse operations, including Picking, Put-away, Decanting, Replenishment, Order Processing and Dispatch, ensuring planned daily volumes, SLAs and target throughput are achieved.

• Conduct daily manpower, resource and capacity planning based on projected e-commerce volumes and operational requirements.

• Ensure manpower is deployed within the approved budget and effectively utilized to achieve target productivity for each warehouse activity.

• Coordinate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including DC Operations, Maintenance, IT, Documentation, Control Tower and other support functions, to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.

• Ensure Same Day Delivery (SDD) and Next Day Delivery (NDD) SLAs are consistently achieved and drive corrective actions to reduce partial order cancellations.

• Develop a strong understanding of the automated warehouse environment and Dematic systems, including WMS, Sorters, Conveyors, Highways, process flow and material flow, and identify opportunities for optimization.

• Coordinate with IT and Maintenance to ensure operational systems and automation equipment—including IT systems, Dematic Sorters, Conveyors and related equipment—remain available and functional for smooth operations.

• Ensure skilled manpower readiness for peak trading periods, including WWS, Ramadan, BTS and other major events, through multi-skilling and cross-functional training across key warehouse activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field is a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce warehouse operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce fulfillment processes, including picking, packing, shipping, and returns.
