Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai seeks a seasoned Warehouse & Distribution Leader to oversee day-to-day operations across multiple locations, ensuring smooth material and product flow to meet production and sales needs.

You will drive inventory accuracy, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement, lead warehouse teams, coordinate with Supply Chain, Production, Sales and Procurement, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations.
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• Experience managing multiple warehouse locations and high-volume inventory operations.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, distribution, stock reconciliation, and material flow.
• Experience with SAP WM/EWM or other ERP systems.
• Proven leadership and people-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations across multiple locations, ensuring smooth and efficient material and product flow.
• Plan and coordinate inbound, storage, picking, dispatch, and outbound activities in line with production and sales requirements.
• Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy through stock control, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
• Monitor warehouse capacity, stock levels, space utilization, and material movement to optimize efficiency.
• Lead and supervise warehouse supervisors, storekeepers, forklift operators, and support teams.
• Monitor KPIs including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, productivity, space utilization, and dispatch efficiency.
• Identify gaps and implement process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, food safety, health & safety, quality, environmental, and company standards.
• Maintain accurate warehouse records, inventory reports, and performance dashboards.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Production, Sales, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Support warehouse expansion, layout optimization, system implementation, and transformation projects.
• Utilize SAP WM/EWM or ERP systems for inventory management, transactions, reporting, and control.
• Identify operational risks and implement controls to maintain business continuity.

• Monitor warehouse capacity, stock levels, space utilization, and material movement to optimize operational efficiency.


• Lead and supervise warehouse supervisors, storekeepers, forklift operators, and support teams, ensuring productivity and adherence to operational standards.


• Monitor key warehouse KPIs including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, productivity, space utilization, dispatch efficiency, and stock variance.


• Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and corrective actions.


• Ensure compliance with SOPs, food safety, health & safety, quality, environmental, and company standards.


• Maintain accurate warehouse records, inventory reports, operational documentation, and performance dashboards.


• Coordinate closely with Supply Chain, Production, Sales, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.


• Support warehouse expansion, layout optimization, system implementation, and other warehouse transformation and improvement projects.


• Utilize SAP WM/EWM or relevant ERP systems for inventory management, transactions, reporting, and operational control.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Have 7–10 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing.


• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.


• Have proven experience managing multiple warehouse locations and high-volume inventory operations.


• Possess strong knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, distribution, stock reconciliation, and material flow.


• Have practical experience with SAP WM/EWM or other ERP systems.


• Demonstrate strong team leadership and people-management capabilities, with experience supervising warehouse teams.


• Be highly analytical with strong problem-solving, reporting, and decision-making skills.


• Have a strong understanding of warehouse KPIs, process improvement, cost optimization, and operational controls.


• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume FMCG environment and managing multiple priorities.


• GCC experience is preferred, particularly within FMCG, food & beverage, or manufacturing operations.
