Job summary

RNA Resources Group Limited is seeking a Warehouse Operations lead to manage daily inbound/outbound, picking, and put-away while meeting SLAs. You will supervise 30–40 staff, drive inventory accuracy, and coordinate with IT/maintenance for system availability. Strong MS Excel, ERP/WMS experience and data analytics skills are required.

Advanced planning and cross-training during peak periods (Ramadan/BTS) are part of the role, with a focus on safety and cost per piece improvements.

Qualifications

Job description

The job holder will be responsible for supporting effective warehouse and team management

Warehouse Operations

1. Daily Operations Management: Execute daily warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, processing, picking, put-away, and decanting, ensuring planned dispatch volumes are achieved while meeting daily SLAs and throughput targets.
2. Manpower Planning and Productivity: Ensure manpower is deployed according to budget, utilized effectively, and aligned with productivity targets for each activity.
3. Warehouse Automation Systems: Develop working knowledge of the Dematic Warehouse Management System (WMS), process flows, and material flows, and identify opportunities for optimization.
4. Consumables Management: Ensure sufficient consumables are available to cover the next 7–14 days of operations. Identify shortages, estimate requirements, and coordinate with Concepts and Line Managers to arrange purchases or replenishment in advance.
5. Consumables Quality and Inventory: Verify the quality of consumables, including hangers and LVIS profiles, and ensure proper inventory management.
6. Peak Readiness and Multiskilling: Ensure skilled manpower is available for key departmental activities during peak periods, including Ramadan and Back to School (BTS), through multiskilling and cross-departmental training in activities such as flat-to-hang, put-away, picking, and decanting.
7. Inventory Accuracy: Improve inventory accuracy through random audits, user accuracy checks, and appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
8. Systems Availability: Coordinate with IT and Maintenance teams to ensure the availability and smooth functioning of operational systems, including IT systems, Dematic sorters, conveyors, and highways.
9. Team Leadership: Lead a team of approximately 30–40 employees, including Team Leaders and floor staff, ensuring effective inventory management, product organization, order fulfilment, SLA compliance, productivity, and adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
10. Continuous Process Improvement: Analyse existing processes and operational data to improve productivity, throughput, fill rate, and overall cost per piece.
11. Performance Management: Regularly monitor employee productivity and performance and implement continuous improvement measures to enhance individual and team performance.
12. Employee Engagement and Communication: Ensure team members feel heard, valued, recognized, and appreciated. Communicate relevant business updates and key management announcements regularly.

Qualifications

Basic Qualification / Education / Vocational Training

• Graduate.
• Preferred age: below 35 years.

Advanced Qualification / Certification / Specialist Training

• Good working knowledge of MS Office.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Experience handling ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Experience

Minimum Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in ERP systems, warehouse operations, data analytics, or related areas.
