Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara, part of Anantara Hotels & Resorts, invites applications for a Waitress role. You will deliver prompt, professional F&B service to guests and ensure an exceptional dining experience on a remote island location.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, experience in hospitality, strong English, and a customer-focused, team-oriented mindset capable of handling a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and appearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in Food & Beverage service, hospitality, restaurant, or hotel operations is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and guest-focused approach.
• Ability to work under pressure in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures.

• Provide professional, friendly, and efficient food and beverage service to guests at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth and timely service delivery.
• Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, grooming standards, and service standards.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and menus to assist guests effectively.
• Accurately take orders and operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain assigned workstations and service areas in accordance with hotel standards.

As a Hospitality Ambassador, the role contributes to guest satisfaction by providing efficient service, maintaining service standards, and promoting the hotel's facilities and offerings. Key Responsibilities

• Protect guest privacy and confidentiality when entering guest rooms and delivering room service.
• Participate actively in training and development programs to enhance service quality and professional skills.
• Support operational requirements and carry out additional duties assigned by management to achieve guest satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Previous experience in Food & Beverage service, hospitality, restaurant, or hotel operations is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards and procedures.
• Ability to learn and operate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
• Strong customer service orientation with a professional appearance and attitude.
• Good command of spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn.
• Willingness to work in a remote island location and adapt to a multicultural hospitality environment.
