Job summary

Anantara’s Desert Islands Resort & Spa in Abu Dhabi is seeking a dedicated Chef de Partie to join the Staff Cafeteria team. You will prepare and cook meals for team members, manage high-volume production during peak times, and ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met.

The role requires collaborating with Commis Chefs, maintaining a clean kitchen, and assisting with menu planning and waste minimization. Experience in staff cafeterias and multi-cuisine preparation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in staff cafeteria/canteen operations.
• Ability to work high-volume food production.
• Knowledge of HACCP and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook daily meals for the team in a high-volume environment.
• Handle high-volume food production during busy meal periods.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Assist with menu preparation, portion control, storage and minimizing waste.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support and guide Commis Chefs and other kitchen staff during daily operations.

Chef de Partie

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Chef de Partie to join our Staff Cafeteria team. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of high-volume food production and be passionate about preparing quality meals for our Team Members. Experience in staff cafeteria/canteen operations and multi-cuisine food preparation is preferred.

• Responsible for preparing and cooking daily meals while maintaining consistent quality, taste, and presentation.
• Capable of handling high-volume food production during busy meal periods.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Assist with menu preparation, portion control, food storage, and minimizing food wastage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Support and guide Commis Chefs and other kitchen team members during daily operations.
