Qualifications

Job Description

Position Summary

As a Waiter/Waitress at CapitalMotion, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiencesby providing attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests. You willserve food and beverages, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold the higheststandards of hospitality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests in atimely and professional manner.
• Set tables according to the type of event and servicestandards.
• Answer questions about menu selections and makerecommendations when appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen regarding menuquestions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability.
• Relay special requests, allergies, and dietary needs tothe kitchen accurately.
• Record orders and transactions using the MICROS system.
• Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensuresatisfaction with each course and beverage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas,including china, glassware, and service stations.
• Complete closing duties such as restocking, turning offequipment, and securing the service area.
• Present accurate checks to guests and process paymentsefficiently.
• Greet and acknowledge all guests according to CapitalMotion standards.
• Anticipate and respond to guest needs, including assistingindividuals with disabilities.

• Stand, walk, or move for extended periods during shifts.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 25 lbsindependently and over 50 lbs with assistance.
• Perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting,reaching, and climbing stairs or ramps.
• Use fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to handletrays, glassware, and utensils.
