Job summary

Shangri-La Group in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, seeks a courteous Waiter/Waitress to deliver exceptional dining experiences. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining a clean, organized dining area.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in hotels, fine-dining, or bars, strong English communication, and a can-do attitude. Proficiency in other languages is a plus, and knowledge of POS systems helps service flow.

Qualifications

• Ability to clearly convey information, listen to guests, and respond to their needs effectively including understanding guest preferences and handling complaints gracefully.
• Capability on managing multiple tables and tasks simultaneously, ensuring efficient service.
• Basic Food Knowledge in understanding of menu items to answer guest inquiries and make recommendations.
• Willingness to collaborate with other colleagues and support each other to ensure smooth operations.
• 1-2 years of experience in Hotels, Fine-Dining restaurants or Bars.
• Professional proficiency in English language.

As a Waiter / Waitress, you will provide excellent guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction. You will also assist with any inquiries or requests from guests. Additionally, you will maintain a clean and organized dining area to enhance the overall dining experience.
