Job summary

Sunset Hospitality Group in Dubai seeks a Barback for its Daylife Division to support front-of-house teams and maintain pristine venue presentation across poolside, beach, and dining areas.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years' waiter experience in premium venues, strong service fundamentals, and the ability to work quickly in outdoor environments; English is essential, Arabic/Russian/French a plus.

Responsibilities

We are seeking passionate and service-driven Barback to join our Daylife Division Brands.

As a key member of our Front-of-House team, you will lead by example in delivering exceptional guest experiences while inspiring and supporting your team to uphold the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver prompt, accurate food and beverage service to guests across assigned sections, including poolside, beachfront, and dining areas.
• Take orders accurately and relay them clearly to the kitchen and bar.
• Learn and present each venue's menu and concept with confidence, including recommendations and allergen information.
• Maintain table, sunbed, and cabana presentation and cleanliness throughout service.
• Check in on guests proactively, anticipating needs and resolving minor requests independently.
• Keep service pace during high-volume peak periods, including weekend brunch and sunset.
• Handle billing and payment processing accurately.
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and hosting teams for smooth, timely service.
• Support cross-venue coverage within the Daylife portfolio as required.
• Ensure full compliance with hygiene, safety, and licensing standards.

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a Waiter within hotels, beach clubs, restaurants, or high-end hospitality venues.
• Strong service fundamentals and attention to detail.
• Ability to work at pace in a high-volume, outdoor, fast-paced environment.
• Well-presented, warm, guest-facing manner suited to a premium venue.
• Comfortable working across different venue concepts and menus.
• Good English communication skills; Arabic, Russian, or French an advantage.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
