Job summary

Orient Insurance PJSC, part of the Al-Futtaim Group, is seeking a Vice President – Broker Relationship (Retail) to develop and manage strategic broker partnerships across the UAE. The role drives profitable growth for Motor, Travel, Home, Medical Malpractice, Personal Accident, and other retail lines while leading a team focused on broker engagement and portfolio development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, Marketing or related discipline.
• Professional insurance qualifications (ACII, Cert CII, Dip CII, or equivalent) will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with leading insurance brokers across the UAE.
• Act as the primary point of contact for key broker accounts and ensure engagement and satisfaction.
• Conduct regular business reviews, portfolio discussions, and performance meetings with brokers.
• Identify opportunities to expand retail insurance business through existing and new broker partnerships.
• Drive sustainable growth across retail insurance products including Motor, Travel, Home, Medical Malpractice, Personal Accident, and other retail lines.
• Develop and implement broker growth strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to support business expansion.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Broker Relationship team to achieve business objectives.
• Establish performance targets and monitor team productivity and effectiveness.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on customer service, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Support talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Facilitate prompt resolution of broker and customer queries.
• Build internal and external relationships to support business objectives.
• Analyze broker performance and portfolio profitability on a regular basis.
• Prepare and present business performance reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Track KPIs, growth metrics, and retention ratios across broker portfolios.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards.
• Maintain accurate broker documentation, agreements, and KYC records.
• Support audit and compliance requirements relating to broker partnerships.
