Job summary

ClearGrid is seeking a Visual & Product Designer to elevate our design ecosystem, translating complex debt-resolution workflows into intuitive interfaces. You will bridge product, engineering and data teams to craft experiences that are both visually compelling and highly usable.

You will own end-to-end design, develop scalable design systems, create marketing collateral, and mentor how design informs strategy in a fast-growing fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in product design, UX/UI or visual design roles, ideally in high-growth startups or fintech environments.
• Portfolio demonstrating thoughtful, usable, high-impact product interfaces.
• Experience creating design systems that scale while maintaining consistency and accessibility.
• Data-driven mindset; translate analytics into design decisions and measurable improvements.
• Excellent communication; guide stakeholders through design choices and advocate for user needs.
• Hands-on experience collaborating with product, engineering and data teams to launch features.
• Bonus: motion/interaction design skills or fintech/regulated product experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end product design process, from user research and wireframing to shipping pixel-perfect UI with engineers.
• Elevate the visual identity of ClearGrid by developing design systems and best practices for brand consistency across digital and print assets.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research, transforming user feedback into actionable interface improvements.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Data Science to translate complex workflows into clear, modern interfaces.
• Build accessible, responsive design components for customer- and agent-facing products.
• Contribute to creative strategy by producing standout marketing collateral, pitch decks, and web content as needed.
