Job summary

Dicetek LLC seeks a Mid-Level Product Designer to shape the experience of a banking mobile app. You will design end-to-end native iOS/Android features, extend the design system, and translate complex financial data into clear interfaces.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams, conduct user research and usability testing, and ensure accessibility and security considerations are embedded in the design process.

Qualifications

• 10-12+ years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or UI Design with native mobile app experience.
• Proficient in Figma, including auto layout, components, variables, and prototyping.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both UX process and UI visual craft.
• Experience contributing to a mature design system, not just consuming a library.
• Experience designing for complex data sets or data-dense interfaces.
• Banking or fintech experience strongly preferred.
• Knowing Apple HIG, Material Design, and WCAG 2.1 AA is beneficial.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum, cross-functional environments.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Mid-Level Product Designer to help shape the experience of our banking mobile app. The ideal candidate combines strong UX and UI craft with the discipline to work within an established design system, and is comfortable translating complex financial data into clear, trustworthy, and easy-to-use interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI for native iOS and Android banking app features.
• Balance UX rigor (research, user flows, usability) with UI craft (visual design, interaction and micro-states).
• Contribute to and extend the existing design system, proposing new components and patterns where gaps exist.
• Design clear, scannable interfaces for complex, data-dense screens such as transaction histories, statements, and multi-account dashboards.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Compliance/Legal to translate business and regulatory requirements into usable experiences.
• Conduct or contribute to user research and usability testing, and iterate designs based on findings.
• Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and banking-specific security and compliance considerations.
• Prepare clear developer handoff specs and support implementation through to release.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and reviews.

Skills

• Proficient in Figma, including auto layout, components, variables, and prototyping.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating both UX process and UI visual craft.

• Demonstrated experience designing for complex data sets or data-dense interfaces.
• Previous banking or fintech experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of native platform guidelines (Apple HIG, Material Design).
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA).
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum, cross-functional environments.
