Job summary

Anantara Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara is seeking a Front Office/Guest Relations professional. You will be the main contact for villa guests, ensuring personalised service from pre-arrival to post-departure while coordinating with other departments to deliver a memorable experience.

Key duties include understanding guest preferences, pre-arrival communication, villa preparation, welcome and orientation, and handling requests with a focus on service excellence.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Front Office, Guest Relations or similar hospitality role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong guest service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide personalised service.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Good knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Willingness to live and work in a remote resort location.

Responsibilities

• Contact guests prior to arrival to understand preferences.
• Prepare villas and residences according to guest preferences and standards.
• Welcome guests, escort to villas and introduce facilities.
• Coordinate guest requests with departments and ensure timely follow-up.
• Provide personalised assistance during the stay including dining and activities.
• Arrange guest amenities and in-villa services.
• Maintain villa facilities, cellars and guest equipment.
• Assist with guest departures including luggage and transport.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and maintain stay profiles.
• Follow resort policies and safety guidelines.
