Job summary

BeWunder in Dubai seeks a Video Systems Engineer to lead technical planning, design, and documentation of video systems for Event Production projects. You will translate concepts into practical solutions, create 2D/3D Vectorworks drawings, and coordinate with audio, lighting, and rigging teams to ensure accurate installation and delivery.

The role requires strong knowledge of LED displays, projection systems, video processing, and networking, with proven experience in live events.

Qualifications

Proven experience in technical planning, video system design, or similar technical role in live events or related industries.
Strong understanding of LED displays, projection systems, media servers, video processing, switching, and networking.
Proficient with Vectorworks and producing detailed technical drawings for live events.
Solid grasp of signal flow, resolutions, formats, equipment selection, connectivity, and integration.
Experience coordinating video with audio, lighting, rigging, staging, and power teams.
Excellent communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

Plan and design video systems for Event Production projects from concept to installation and delivery.
Convert concepts and briefs into practical, technically achievable video solutions.
Create detailed 2D and 3D Vectorworks drawings covering LEDs, projection, placement, routes, and infrastructure.
Prepare video system designs, signal flows, equipment specs, schematics, and patching information.
Determine equipment, screen and projection requirements, signal distribution, and integration approaches.
Coordinate video designs with audio, lighting and rigging disciplines.
Review venue, architectural, production, and project drawings to define requirements and risks.
Prepare equipment lists, scope of work, and supplier/subcontractor requirements.
Maintain accurate drawings and documentation throughout project development and delivery.
Support installation, commissioning, rehearsals, and onsite delivery as required.
Contribute to technical standards, templates, workflows, and best practices.
