Job summary

BeWunder in Dubai seeks a Rigging Technical Planner to lead the design and planning of rigging systems for Event Production projects from tender to onsite delivery.

You will translate briefs into safe, technically sound rigging solutions, develop 2D/3D Vectorworks drawings, and perform Braceworks analysis. Collaboration with lighting, audio, and video teams is essential to meet safety standards and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in rigging technical planning/design for live events, entertainment, theatre, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of rigging systems: truss, hoists, suspension, loads, and interfaces.
• Proficient in using Braceworks for rigging analysis and load calculations.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical planning and design of rigging systems from tender through onsite delivery.
• Translate briefs into safe, technically sound rigging solutions.
• Develop 2D/3D rigging drawings in Vectorworks with plots, layouts, suspension points, and loads.
