Job summary

Creative Indians in Sharjah seeks a procurement professional with 3-5 years of import purchasing experience, ideally in automotive or manufacturing. You will forecast needs, raise POs, track orders, and coordinate with production, sales, and inventory teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating logistics with freight forwarders, handling customs documentation, ERP usage (SAP/Oracle), and reporting on vendor performance and inventory. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or International Business
• 3-5 years import purchasing experience (ideally automotive/manufacturing)
• Good knowledge of global trade, Incoterms, and customs processes
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel
• Good communication and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Purchase planning and order management: forecast needs, raise POs, track orders and shipments
• Logistics and shipment coordination: coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers, manage documents
• Cross-functional coordination: liaise with engineering, quality, production; coordinate with finance on vendor payments and FX
• ERP & reporting: use SAP/Oracle to track orders and report on vendor performance, cost savings, delivery reliability
• Inventory planning and coordination: align procurement with production, monitor stock levels, expedite urgent orders

Executive- VDP Sharjah Total Experience 2-3 yrs Status - Single Kindly refer below JD amp share some relevant profiles on priority basis

• Purchase Planning and Order Management Forecast buying needs in coordination with production sales and inventory teams Raise purchase orders POs and ensure timely execution Track order progress and shipment status
• Logistics and Shipment Coordination Coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers Ensure accurate shipping documentation e g commercial invoice packing list bill of lading Monitor shipment schedules transit times and manage delays
• Cross-Functional Coordination Liaise with engineering quality and production teams to align purchase specs and timelines Coordinate with finance on vendor payments and foreign exchange considerations
• ERP amp Reporting Use ERP systems SAP Oracle or industry-specific platforms for order tracking and reporting Generate reports on vendor performance cost savings delivery reliability etc
• Inventory Planning and Coordination Align procurement schedules with production and inventory planning teams Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock outs or overstock Handle urgent procurement requirements and expedite orders when necessary
