Job summary

MUFADDAL SHABBIR BUILDING MATERIAL TRADING (LLC) in Dubai is seeking an experienced logistics coordinator to manage supplier shipments, clearance, and local purchases. You will oversee Odoo-based procurement, inventory, and vendor invoicing while coordinating with forwarders and customs.

The role requires organization, English proficiency, and familiarity with UAE import processes; Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on UAE import logistics and purchase experience (no freshers).
• Has handled DO collection, BL release and customs bill of entry.
• Has worked with shipping lines, forwarders, clearing agents and transporters in the UAE.
• Odoo or other ERP experience (purchase, inventory, vendor bills); good Excel.
• Organized, with strong follow-up and good English; Arabic, Hindi or Urdu is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with overseas suppliers on production and goods-ready dates.
• Get freight quotes, compare, and book containers after approval.
• Check shipping documents against the PO and maintain ETD/ETA status weekly.
• Coordinate clearing, DO, customs entry, port release, and transport to warehouse.
• Create local POs in Odoo and ensure receipts match invoices in the system.
• Maintain accurate warehouse stock in Odoo and run regular stock counts.

Supplier Shipment Coordination

• Follow up with overseas suppliers China India and others on production and goods-ready dates
• Get freight quotes from forwarders and shipping lines, compare them and book containers after approval
• Check shipping documents BL commercial invoice packing list certificate of origin against the PO
• Maintain the container arrival list ETD ETA status delays and send a weekly shipment report

Clearing Delivery

• Coordinate with the clearing agent for DO customs bill of entry and port release
• Arrange transport to the warehouse and return empty containers on time no demurrage or detention

Receiving Odoo Entry

• Check quantities received against the supplier packing list and report shortages or damages
• Enter and validate in Odoo import Purchase Orders receipts vendor bills and landed costs freight duty clearing transport

Local Purchases

• Create local Purchase Orders in Odoo
• Make sure every PO is received in the warehouse and every receipt has a matching vendor invoice posted
• Follow up on pending deliveries and missing supplier invoices

Inventory

• Maintain accurate warehouse stock in Odoo
• Run regular stock counts and report differences
