Qualifications

• 1 to 5 years of UI/UX or ServiceNow experience design roles.
• Experience designing UI/UX for ServiceNow platforms including Employee Center, Service Portal, Workspaces or custom apps.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies and interaction design.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and journey maps using Figma/Adobe XD/Sketch.

Responsibilities

• Design and enhance user experiences across ServiceNow applications (Employee Center, Service Portal, Workspaces).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand user journeys and usability challenges.
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, journey maps and design mockups aligned with objectives and platform standards.
• Configure and optimize ServiceNow UIs using UI Builder, Service Portal, and Next Experience capabilities.
• Ensure consistent design patterns, branding, and navigation across the platform.
• Conduct usability reviews and testing to improve user experience.
• Work with developers to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with best practices.
• Support accessibility, responsiveness, and performance considerations.

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and user-focused ServiceNow UI/UX Consultant with a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and ServiceNow user experiences. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge business requirements, user needs, and platform capabilities to deliver intuitive, accessible, and engaging digital experiences across the ServiceNow ecosystem. You will work closely with stakeholders, developers, product owners, and architects to optimize employee and customer interactions across ServiceNow applications and portals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and enhance user experiences across ServiceNow applications, including Employee Center, Service Portal, Workspace experiences, Catalogs, Knowledge Management, and custom applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and end users to gather requirements and understand user journeys, pain points, and usability challenges.
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, journey maps, and design mockups that align with business objectives and platform standards.
• Configure and optimize ServiceNow user interfaces using UI Builder, Employee Center, Service Portal, Workspaces, and Next Experience capabilities.
• Ensure consistency in design patterns, branding, navigation structures, and user interactions across the platform.
• Conduct usability reviews, user testing sessions, and design validation activities to continuously improve the user experience.
• Work closely with technical consultants and developers to ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and aligned with ServiceNow best practices.
• Support accessibility, responsiveness, and performance considerations in accordance with organizational and industry standards.
• Contribute to design governance, style guides, and UX standards for enterprise-wide ServiceNow implementations.
• Stay informed on ServiceNow platform enhancements, UX trends, and emerging design practices.

Required Experience & Skills

• 1 to 5 years of experience in UI/UX design, digital experience design, or ServiceNow experience design roles.
• Experience designing user experiences for ServiceNow platforms, including Employee Center, Service Portal, Workspaces, or custom applications.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies, information architecture, usability principles, and interaction design.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user journey maps, and high-fidelity designs using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow UI Builder, Next Experience, Workspaces, Employee Center, and Service Portal capabilities.
• Understanding of accessibility standards, responsive design principles, and mobile-first design approaches.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and architects in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain design decisions and gain stakeholder alignment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; ServiceNow CSA certification and UX-related certifications are a plus.
