Job summary

Personnel Search Services Group is seeking a senior Market Access professional to develop and execute UAE market access strategies for pharmaceutical products, engaging with government hospitals, payers, and insurers to drive institutional business.

The role requires extensive collaboration with Sales, Regulatory, Finance and Supply Chain to optimize product access and growth, including tender planning, formulary inclusion and reimbursement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification would be an advantage.
• 10–15 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, Key Account Management, Market Access, Institutional Business or related commercial functions.
• Strong understanding of the UAE pharmaceutical and healthcare market.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement market access strategies for pharmaceutical products in the UAE.
• Build and maintain relationships with government hospitals, private hospital groups, healthcare institutions, insurance companies and other key accounts.
• Drive product listing, formulary inclusion, reimbursement and institutional procurement opportunities.
• Identify key decision-makers and develop account plans to improve product access and business growth.
• Manage government and institutional business opportunities, including tender planning, submissions and follow-ups.
• Monitor healthcare policies, reimbursement mechanisms, pricing, tender processes and competitor activities.
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Finance and Supply Chain teams to support market access and commercial objectives.
• Provide market intelligence and identify opportunities to improve product penetration and business performance.
