IT People Consulting is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join its team in the UAE. The role covers end-user support, desktop maintenance, Microsoft 365 management, and network troubleshooting to keep IT systems secure and operational.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, effective communication, and a customer-focused approach to solving problems. UAE-based applicants are preferred for on-site operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in IT support, desktop support, service desk, or technical support roles.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in hardware, software, Windows operating systems, and network connectivity.
• Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, Wi‑Fi, and VPN technologies.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or ManageEngine.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, Azure, or remote support tools is an advantage.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident management is preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, or ITIL Foundation are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office applications, and business software.
• Manage user accounts, password resets, and access permissions using Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
• Diagnose and resolve LAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and network connectivity issues.
• Log, prioritize, track, and resolve incidents using IT Service Management (ITSM) tools.
• Perform software installations, system updates, patch management, and routine maintenance.
• Support endpoint security, antivirus solutions, backup procedures, and IT security policies.
• Maintain IT asset records, document technical issues, and elevate complex incidents in accordance with SLAs.
