Job summary

Wahed Invest LLC in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Business Operations Manager to lead the UAE operations, delivering new features and improvements for a value-based wealth platform.

You will own end-to-end delivery, build processes and controls, and report to senior leadership on performance, risks and growth initiatives. This is a hands-on role with broad scope and direct impact on strategy execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Operations or related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in business operations, fintech, investments or financial services.
• Experience managing vendors, external partners or service providers.
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Analytical and commercially minded with data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, international and regulated environment.
• Knowledge of UAE financial services or fintech market preferred.
• Understanding of Shariah-compliant investing beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations and overall performance of Wahed's UAE business.
• Monitor country P&L, budgets, revenue, expenditure and vendor costs with Finance support.
• Track key metrics: customer acquisition, funded customers, AUM, revenue, product usage, operations performance.
• Coordinate operational activities across KYC, onboarding, deposits/withdrawals, trading, portfolio management and support.
• Identify operational or product issues and coordinate teams for timely resolution.
• Collaborate with Product and Tech to improve UAE customer journey and localise product.
• Coordinate with Marketing on local campaigns, partnerships and growth initiatives.
• Onboard new vendors and partners, including due diligence and contracts.
• Manage vendor relationships and monitor service levels and costs.
• Support negotiations to improve terms and service delivery.
• Work with Legal, Risk and Compliance to meet regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Prepare management, governance and regulatory reports.
• Coordinate cross-functional UAE projects and ensure ownership and timelines.
