Job summary

EDGE in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Turbine Aerodynamic Design Engineer II to lead aerodynamic design, analysis and optimization of axial turbine stages for gas turbine and turbojet engines. You will contribute across design, CFD, testing and cross-functional teams to deliver high-efficiency propulsion solutions.

The role requires a degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering and 4–7 years of turbomachinery experience, with emphasis on turbine aerodynamics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• 4–7 years of experience in turbomachinery aerodynamic design.
• Experience in turbine aerodynamics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support aerodynamic design of axial turbine stages and blade/vane aerodynamics.
• Perform CFD analyses for turbine cascades and stages.
• Evaluate performance under design and off-design conditions.
• Assist in testing, validation, and data analysis.
• Collaborate with mechanical and thermal teams to ensure integrated design.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of aerodynamic tools and processes.
