Job summary

EDGE's Powertech center of excellence is seeking a Turbine Aerodynamic Design Engineer II to support the design, analysis, and optimization of axial turbine stages for gas turbines and turbojets, focusing on blade aerodynamics, performance and efficiency.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with 4–7 years in turbomachinery aerodynamic design; experience in turbine aerodynamics and testing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in turbine aerodynamics required.
• Experience with engine testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Aerodynamic design of turbine blades and vanes.
• Perform CFD simulations for turbine cascades and stages.
• Evaluate aerodynamics performance under design and off-design conditions.
• Support testing and validation activities with instrumentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical and thermal teams to ensure integrated design.
