Job summary

EDGE Group PJSC, via its PowerTech division, seeks a Gas Turbine Turbomachinery Aerodynamics Engineer to advance turbojet and turbofan propulsion programs. You will lead aerodynamic design and analysis for turbomachinery, developing numerical and experimental methods and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Ideal candidates bring 5–15+ years in aerospace propulsion, a relevant engineering degree, and strong CFD, optimization, and programming skills.

Qualifications

• Requires Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering degree or related field.
• Strong background in gas turbine propulsion, turbomachinery design, thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.
• Hands-on experience in axial and centrifugal compressor and turbine design for gas turbine applications.

Responsibilities

• Carry out gas turbine turbomachinery aerodynamic design and analysis activities.
• Carry out design and off-design analysis; post-process engine test data; liaise with stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership in engine architectural studies.
