Job summary

EDGE Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a senior Applied Aerodynamics Engineer to lead a major aerodynamic work package with limited supervision, while supporting multidisciplinary design trades and aerospace lifecycle reviews.

You will perform aerodynamic analyses across subsonic to hypersonic regimes, run CFD studies, validate results with wind-tunnel or flight data, and prepare authoritative analysis reports, test plans, and substantiation evidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computational Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Master’s degree or PhD in Aerodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, CFD, Aircraft Design, Experimental Aerodynamics, or related field preferred.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Lead a significant aerodynamic work package with limited supervision.
• Support multidisciplinary design trades and major aerospace lifecycle reviews.
• Prepare controlled analysis reports, aerodynamic-data reports, test plans, test reports, and substantiation evidence.
