EDGE, headquartered in the UAE, invites applications for a Turbine Aerodynamic Design Engineer II within POWERTECH. The role focuses on aerodynamic design, analysis, and optimization of axial turbine stages for gas turbine and turbojet engines, collaborating across design, CFD, and testing teams.

You will contribute to blade and vane aerodynamics, stage matching, and performance assessment, with emphasis on efficiency, reliability, and integration with compressor and combustor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• 4–7 years of turbomachinery aerodynamic design experience.
• Experience in turbine aerodynamics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Aerodynamic design support for turbine blades and vanes (profiles, angles, stacking).
• CFD analysis and simulations for turbine cascades and stages.
• Analyze flow fields including losses, secondary flows, and heat transfer effects.
• Cross-functional collaboration with mechanical and thermal teams.
• Support rig and engine testing activities.
