Job summary

ATTA in Dubai seeks an experienced travel specialist to provide clients with information on travel options, help select routes and process tickets to empower informed decisions and timely travel planning.

The role involves suggesting cost-saving options, handling ticketing cash and card transactions, and maintaining a personalized client database to build loyalty and repeat business.

Qualifications

• Intermediate / “A’ Levels required.
• IATA certification would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with information on travel options and assist in choosing routes and tickets.
• Propose cost-saving travel options and add-on services.
• Comply with policies on ticketing, cash/cheque collection and maintain transparency in transactions.
• Maintain customer database with bookings, frequent traveler numbers and preferences.
• Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve service quality.
• Follow up with overdue payments to support company objectives.
• Keep product knowledge up-to-date on travel industry rules and regulations.

Job description

To provide customers with desired information on travel options, assist them in choosing the right route/ airline suiting their budgets and process their tickets in order to sustain continued customer patronage and reach sales targets

Responsibilities

Functional Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide customers with desired information on various travel options available, assist them to choose the most suitable route/ airline according to their budget/ needs, and process their tickets in time to enable them to make well informed decisions on their travel & embark on the journey.
• Make proposals to clients to limit the cost of travel or offer services to reduce the add-on costs like airport pick-ups, hotel accommodation etc.
• Comply with all administrative policies and procedures relating to ticketing and collection of cash/ cheques from customers, in order to avoid discrepancies and disputes at a later date and to maintain transparency in all transactions dealing with money.
• Maintain an up-to-date database on all regular customers pertaining to their bookings, frequent traveler numbers, meal / seat preferences etc., to offer them personalized service and sustain their continued patronage.
• Receive and process customer feedback, after completion of travel, to gauge their views/ opinions on the level & quality of service offered by ATTA and scope for improvement, if any.
• Follow-up with defaulting customers to collect overdue payments to enable the company to settle its’ accounts and achieve its’ business objectives.
• Update ones’ product knowledge, general information on latest developments, rules/ regulations pertaining to travel industry to be enabled to offer the precise kind of advice that suits the customers’ needs and ensures their satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Additional qualifications in IATA certification would be an advantage
