Job summary

Apparel Group is seeking an Assistant Manager – Training to design and drive learning initiatives across GCC corporate functions, aligning with policy and sales goals.

The role requires 1–3 years in training or retail operations, strong communication and LMS familiarity, and the ability to coordinate cross-brand training calendars. You will lead the training team, develop new programs, and monitor effectiveness to boost performance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in training, HR or retail operations is desirable.
• Strong communication, presentation and organizational skills are essential.
• Experience coordinating and facilitating training initiatives in a retail environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement training activities across GCC for Corporate Functions to support sales objectives.
• Initiate and develop new learning & development initiatives for the employees as per the business needs.
• Create, communicate, coordinate and implement the training calendar for the year for all the brands.
• Monitor and guide the training team to improve conversion percentage through effective training solutions.
• Conduct cost effective training solutions for the employees.
• Acquire product knowledge of the new brands in the portfolio and train the training team accordingly.
• Review training feedback and adjust programs accordingly.
• Recommend new learning material and approaches to the training team.
• Ensure best training and development practices are maintained by the training team.
• Design training courses and programs to meet training needs of Apparel as an organization and individuals.
• Implement the training process and training modules.
• Initiate in-store programs, leadership programs to enhance people skills.
• Visit and/or conduct training sessions at Corporate Offices across Regions to assess skills and provide feedback.
• Motivate, supervise and guide the team; handle manpower planning of the training department.
