Job summary

Confidential Company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Tender Manager to review and analyze tender documents, RFQs, RFPs, and customer requirements. You will coordinate with Operations, Transport, and Warehousing to prepare competitive pricing proposals and commercial quotations.

You will develop tender responses, ensure on-time submissions, and conduct profitability analyses before bids. The role requires 3–5 years in logistics tender management and a degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of tender management experience in logistics.
• Experience with RFQs, RFPs, and customer tenders.
• Knowledge of air/ocean/road freight and contract logistics.
• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Professional certifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze tender documents, RFQs, RFPs, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Operations, Transport, Warehousing.
• Prepare competitive pricing proposals, cost calculations, and commercial quotations.
• Develop tender responses, presentations, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure tender documents are completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Conduct commercial evaluations and profitability analysis before bid submission.
• Maintain a database of tender opportunities, submissions, bid results, and pricing records.
• Follow up on submitted tenders and coordinate clarification requests from customers.
• Support contract negotiations and implementation activities after tender award.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, freight rates, and logistics costs to ensure competitive pricing strategies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer procurement procedures.
• Prepare management reports on tender performance, pipeline, success rates, and revenue potential.
• Participate in customer meetings and internal strategy discussions related to major bids.
• Continuously improve tender processes, templates, and bid management practices.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-5 years of experience in tender management, pricing, commercial operations, or business support within the logistics and freight forwarding industry.

• Experience in preparing and managing RFQs, RFPs, and customer tenders.

• Exposure to Air Freight, Ocean Freight, Road Transport, Contract Logistics, and Supply Chain solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.

• Professional certifications in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, or Commercial Management are advantageous.
