Job summary

Bond metal fabrication l l c in the United Arab Emirates seeks a skilled Tekla Detailer to create precise 3D models and comprehensive fabrication drawings. You will ensure adherence to project specifications and BIM standards while collaborating with engineers and project managers to resolve design discrepancies.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on steel detailing experience, certification in Tekla Structures is a plus, and proficiency in advanced modeling and drawing generation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in a relevant technical field is advantageous.
• Hold certifications in Tekla Structures or related steel detailing programs.
• Have a minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in structural steel detailing.

Responsibilities

• Develop precise 3D models of steel structures using Tekla Structures in line with project specs.
• Generate fabrication and erection drawings including connection details, member lists and material take-offs.
• Collaborate with structural engineers and project managers to ensure design intent is clear and discrepancies resolved.
• Perform clash detection and interference checks within the 3D model to prevent on-site issues.
